Delete your Genora account
Genora lets verified users initiate account deletion from inside the app. This protects your identity and prevents someone else from requesting deletion of your family archive.
- Log in to the Genora account you want deleted.
- Open Settings.
- Find Account deletion, choose the appropriate scope, acknowledge the consequences, and submit the request.
- Genora will verify ownership and review shared-family responsibilities before completing deletion.
What deletion covers
Account-only deletion removes your login and personal account connection after shared-content responsibilities are resolved. A family owner may request deletion of the owned family archive, including its profiles and content. Content another family owns is not deleted by your request.
Genora aims to complete verified requests within 30 days. Limited backup copies may remain temporarily before routine deletion or when retention is legally required.
